1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ChaloChallan ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Service Description
ChaloChallan is a citizen-driven platform that enables users to report traffic violations by uploading photographic or video evidence. Verified reports are posted on X (formerly Twitter) tagging the relevant traffic police authorities. When a challan (traffic fine) is issued as a result of a report, the reporting user may receive a monetary reward.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Content Submissions
When you submit a report, you affirm that the evidence (photos, videos, location data) is genuine, unaltered, and captured by you. You must not submit fabricated, manipulated, or misleading evidence. All uploaded media must depict an actual traffic violation. We reserve the right to reject or remove any submission that does not meet our verification standards.
5. Rewards and Payouts
Rewards are issued only when a submitted report results in a confirmed challan issued by the traffic police. There is no guarantee that any report will result in a challan or a payout. Reward amounts are determined solely by ChaloChallan and may change at any time. Payouts are processed to the UPI VPA or bank account you provide. You are responsible for any applicable taxes on rewards received.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not: submit false, fabricated, or misleading reports; harass, threaten, or defame any individual, including alleged violators; attempt to manipulate the reward system through duplicate or fraudulent submissions; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure; or impersonate any person or entity. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all media you upload to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant ChaloChallan a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, watermark, and publish your content on X and other channels for the purpose of reporting traffic violations and promoting road safety. The ChaloChallan name, logo, and branding are our intellectual property and may not be used without permission.
8. Privacy

9. Limitation of Liability
ChaloChallan is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChaloChallan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of rewards paid to you in the preceding twelve months.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Platform, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Any pending rewards for confirmed challans will still be honored.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
